John Kid and John King were Presbyterian ministers executed at the Cross of Edinburgh on 14th August 1679 after the Battle of Bothwell Bridge. Today they are less well known than many other Covenanting martyrs, but their story does not deserve to be forgotten. This careful account of their lives shows how their faith in Christ upheld them during some of the difficulties and perplexities of the Covenanting struggle.
